OK… So you want to run a successful business from home and live the life style of an internet marketer. Well, let me start off by telling you that if you don’t have a master plan, your efforts may be meaningless. You see, running a successful online business isn’t what those gurus make it out to be. It’s a business… plain and simple. And like any business, you must put out effort to make it come together. So if you are frequently creating new training material or products, it can be hard to stay organized. You have so many things going on at once and making sure that all these things are done correctly can be difficult at times. So what do you do?You see, I’ve been running a business online for a couple of years now and it never seizes to amaze me how complicated it can all be. Writing information products, conducting interviews, coaching clients, all of these things take time and energy… how will you ever sort it out? This is exactly why I encourage you to create a “Master Plan”. This will not only give you clarity about the day to day tasks you must take, but it will guide you to a successful year… each year you are in business, it will become easier and easier to manage all the aspects. In your Master Plan you will have different folders for each part of your business. Your written content will be stored in one folder, sales pages in another… it will all be organized to meet your needs. I want you to really focus on creating your master plan… really make it work. You see, if you were to create all the parts for your business without creating a master plan first, you wouldn’t get very far… and all the dreams of sitting on the beach would be over… this cannot happen. Anyone can do this. It just takes work… and perseverance. You wouldn’t build a house frame before you poured the FOUNDATION would you? Your house would become flooded with rain water… rats would be sleeping in your bed… the frame of your home would sink into the earth. Get the point? So, what are the steps you need to take to make everything come together in your business? I suggest that you identify your goals. What do you want to accomplish in 2012? What about the next few weeks? You see, I can talk all day about how to optimize this and that, but if you don’t know what you want to accomplish it cannot come to you. But if you can clarify what it is you do want, it must come…Once you have created your very own master plan, all that you need to do is follow the steps laid out before you. Whenever you begin to become overwhelmed, ask yourself, what can I do “right now” to come closer to my goals? Once you’ve taken the time to clarify that, do it! You will reach your goals…To the creation of your successful marketing plan!
